•Nava Benefits is a modern benefits brokerage focused on providing great benefits. •We seek a Large Group Benefits Analyst to support New York client employer benefit programs. •Own onboarding and maintain compliance for assigned clients' BenAdmin systems and vendor relationships. •Provide ongoing member support and guidance for benefit enrollment as needed. •Thrive in a collaborative environment, advocating for clients' needs and delivering consistent value.
•1-5 years of benefits analyst or related experience within a brokerage setting; Recent experience supporting New York large employer groups (100-5,000 MEL’s) preferred •Comprehensive understanding of large group plans, products, and financial structures, including fully insured, level & self-funded, and captives. •Proven client service proficiency, showcasing the ability to foster relationships with both internal team members and external vendors. •Track record in providing support for benefit enrollment, including tasks such as preparing materials and presentations, verifying policy and plan information, and maintaining accuracy in internal systems. •Experience in managing administrative tasks for clients, involving responsibilities such as Form 5500 filings, policy validation and delivery, monthly reporting of client and carrier information, and the creation of summary plan descriptions. •Demonstrated expertise in financial analyses, including the development of pricing and employee contribution strategies, modeling plan design alternatives, and calculating reserves. •Proficiency in utilizing tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite, coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills
