Description

• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will employ your technical expertise to help your team implement new features, refactor key parts of the codebase, and improve the overall quality of the product. • Along the way, you will be challenged to grow professionally and predictably ship code that helps your team achieve business goals. • Understand your team's domain and work productively within it. • Consistently design code that utilizes design abstractions and encapsulation effectively. • Write sustainable high-quality, high-performance code. • Effectively communicate peer review feedback to help your peers produce better code. • Use systematic debugging techniques and tools (logs, traces, metrics) to diagnose issues. • Approach all assignments with a security lens, actively look for security vulnerabilities both in the code and when providing peer reviews. • Review stories critically and ensure they’re appropriately broken down, and dependencies are well understood by the team. • Mentor teammates in an open, respectful, flexible, empathetic manner. • Participate in rotating on-call duties, including incident management.
