• As a Software Engineer II at FACTS G&A, you will play a vital role in our application development process. • You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and team members to understand their needs and create innovative products and features that enhance FACTS G&A solutions. • Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, guiding them in best practices and development standards. • You will also be encouraged to expand your own technical skills and knowledge. • A Typical Day Might Include: • Collaborating with a team to design new products and features based on user requirements from Product Owners. • Writing code and automated tests for new features. • Reviewing and providing constructive feedback on development pull requests. • Mentoring less experienced engineers on their current tasks. • Working in an Agile environment, quickly adapting to changes and evolving requirements. • Keeping your technical skills current through continuous learning.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Minimum of 3 years in software development, particularly in delivering enterprise-class web applications. • Strong expertise in front-end technologies, including: • Angular JavaScript TypeScript HTML/CSS JSON RESTful APIs Accessibility Component based architecture. • Security Working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, and Web API to collaborate effectively with back-end teams. • Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and SOLID principles. • Experience developing microservices, with an emphasis on integration with front-end components. • Familiarity with Entity Framework for understanding data interactions. • Practical experience in building, testing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
