Description
• Exceptional opportunity contributing to geospatial software development supporting the National Map at USGS • Design back-end geospatially enabled applications to manage hydrographic analysis • Troubleshoot engineering problems related to core National Map applications
Requirements
• Strong Python-enabled programming proficiency including knowledge of GeoPandas and other demonstrated spatial libraries • Extensive knowledge of ESRI programming libraries • Previous experience with GDAL and automated projection transformation for programming • Bachelor's degree and/or 4-6 years of software programming experience • Network X analysis for the visualization of complex infrastructure networks (optional)
