📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions such as firewalls, SIEM systems, endpoint protection, and encryption technologies to safeguard critical systems and data. • Conduct routine security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and address potential risks. • Conduct system vulnerability and compliance assessments and remediation across OS, Cloud, and Infrastructure as Code environments, with a strong emphasis on these areas over network scanning. • Respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis, and coordinating remediation efforts to mitigate future threats. • Work closely with application and development teams to ensure secure coding practices are integrated into the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including code review and vulnerability scanning. • Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources (e.g., network traffic, system logs) to identify trends, anomalies, or incidents requiring further investigation. • Participate in threat modeling exercises and help design appropriate security defenses. • Develop automation scripts for security tasks using languages like Python or PowerShell, improving efficiency in vulnerability management and threat detection.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in cyber security engineering or a similar role. • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell). • Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and providing remediation recommendations. • Understanding of security controls in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and their secure implementation. • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear reports and recommendations.
