Description

• Help drive continuous improvements in NextGen’s security posture. • Leverage automation for efficiency in security operations. • Develop and maintain security tooling, guidelines, and standards. • Participate in threat intelligence and forensic analysis exercises. • Work closely with application and infrastructure teams on vulnerability mitigation. • Create and maintain runbooks and incident response documentation. • Create and monitor correlated event dashboards in the SIEM. • Research, implement, and configure security protections. • Write scripts to automate manual tasks. • Provide training for new staff and internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline. • 4+ years of experience in systems administration, software engineering, software development, or related discipline. • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, software development, or related experience preferred. • AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Developer / SysOps Administrator.
