📋 Description
NexGen Data Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to support our government customer • Evaluates the applicability of a broad range of information systems issues • Works with Test Engineer to develop test cases and formal test plans • Provides testing input for program engineering and acquisition documents • Test software system and reports defects clearly and concisely • Tracks all system bugs/discrepancies • Ensures software engineers resolve and incorporate necessary fixes • Performs complex and repetitive testing to ensure compliance to specifications
🎯 Requirements
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics • Ten (10) years with Master’s or fourteen (14) years with Bachelor’s degree of professional experience with research, design, and development of software or specialized utility programs • Experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting • Notable experience with applying modern software development methodologies • Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification required • Highly specialized in one or more phases of systems engineering and testing
