Description

• Oversee the accounting team and the functions that this team performs: AR, AP, billing, collections, freelancer payments, month-end close, payroll, cash management and financial reporting. • Perform month-end and year-end accounting close procedures including maintenance of balance sheet schedules and recording journal entries • Review cash reconciliation and maintain cash forecasts • Oversee and review the Company’s payroll on various platforms, commission calculations and monthly payroll account reconciliations • Review vendor payments in accounting software and payment systems, credit card payments and reconciliations • Lead or support long-term accounting projects that will help enhance efficiencies as we grow our business.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Finance or Accounting or comparable experience • 5-6+ years of related accounting experience, preferably in US based start-ups • 2+ years of experience managing a team of finance or accounting • Enjoys a dynamic high-growth environment and can work well with less-defined processes • Possess a thorough understanding of GAAP • Strong Excel and data management skills (e.g., pivot tables, V-lookups, index/match functions) • Well organized, solid team player, and able to communicate effectively cross functionally as well as within our culturally and geographically diverse Company
