Description

• Principal Business Solutions Architects lead strategic customer engagements to ensure value realization during implementations. • Solution Architects lead a team and work directly with customers to understand how their business runs today and design how Nicus can drive value and achieve key business objectives. • They also support ongoing customer success initiatives to ensure customers continue to get value out of Nicus products. • Lead multiple simultaneous customer engagements to implement Nicus to deliver customer value with ITFM, both for planning and cost transparency. • Ensure Nicus implementations deliver the business outcomes desired by the senior stakeholders at the customer. • Build and maintain relationships with customers as a trusted expert, leading clients to follow best practices and focus on what delivers value. • Handle the “tough conversations” with customers, guiding them to known best practices, addressing problems where possible, and communicating when escalation is likely. • Ensure that we can hold customers accountable for their decisions. • Design project structure to optimize project success and time-to-value and collaborate with Nicus project managers to deliver on that plan. • Lead value assessment consulting sessions with customers, including discovery and analysis, and craft and deliver executive level presentations to CxOs while working cross functionally across internal Nicus teams. • Perform analysis and guide clients through their IT finance analysis, forecasting and planning processes. • Design high-level structure of data flow and business processes that will most effectively deliver desired business outcomes. • Analyze financial data and articulate meaningful conclusions and narratives. • Engage closely with customers to understand their data and gather custom business and technical requirements. • Identify data gaps in current client environments to create more accurate analysis as it relates to the financial reporting and analytics. • Lead workshops and training sessions that guide our clients through the implementation process. • Collaborate with the Director of Services Development and Development staff to plan and execute on technical configurations and ensure their solutions meet customer needs. • Ensure timely and effective execution of all phases of the implementation process from discovery through configuration, UAT, and go-live to ensuring customers get the expected value. • Identify and surface risks to customer success. • Manage and mentor members of the customer engagement team, delegating effectively to Implementation Consultants for detailed requirements collection, solution configuration, and development of training materials. • Support development of effective SOWs so customers experience a smooth transition from Sales to Services. • Collaborate to develop and document best practices for Nicus implementations. • Collaborate with Product team, providing client feedback, suggesting potential product enhancements, and providing feedback on in-development Product enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or management information systems • 5+ years of ITFM experience, both Planning and Cost Modeling • 3+ years of experience leading professional services consultations or other implementation effort • Strong to expert Excel skills; knowledge of SQL a plus • Track record of excellent customer service skills and the ability to influence • Experience in gathering and documenting requirements. • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Strong organizational and time management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate and present findings and recommendations • High degree of accountability • Ambitious, motivated self-starter • Team player with demonstrated positive, “can-do” attitude and enthusiasm in working toward team and individual goals • Thrives in a diverse team environment willing to push boundaries and share new insights • Good understanding of the SaaS platform delivery model a plus • Willingness to travel up to 20%
