📋 Description
• Support a Nokia Customer as a Resident Engineer. • Develop network architecture and services designs with the best architecture available to support our customer's services. • Produce network implementation and migration plans. • Document configuration equipment and services. • Test and support networks in various stages of deployment. • Provide recommendations to optimize the network operations and performance. • Work with internal technical teams for product placement and feature improvements for reliability, availability, and serviceability.
🎯 Requirements
• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Computer Science or 5+ years equivalent practical work experience. • Experience in MPLS, ISIS, Segment Routing, BGP protocols, LDP and RSVP-TE, and L2/L3 VPNs over MPLS. • Experience in QoS implementation/testing; familiarity with testing tools like Spirent and IXIA. • Expertise troubleshooting, monitoring, and configuring the noted IP networking protocols. • A customer mindset and solid written and verbal communication skills to end-clients. • It would be nice if you also had: Nokia SRA, Cisco CCIE and/or Juniper JNCIE or equivalent certification. • Nokia products experience (7750SR, 7250 IXR, 7705SAR, 7210SAS, and NSP).
