Description

• Provide on-site technical support, diagnosis, and maintenance for Nordson powder coating systems at customer sites from Midlands to Scotland and Ireland. • Utilize advanced electrical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to industrial control systems • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections, in order to optimize customer efficiency and productivity. • Develop strong powder coating application knowledge and train customers on best powder coating practices. • Execute system updates, upgrades, and modifications to enhance equipment performance, aligning with customer requirements. • Deliver hands-on training to customers, empowering them to understand, operate, and maintain Nordson powder coating systems effectively. • Build strong, professional relationships with customers, demonstrating a passion for service excellence and ensuring customer needs are met with quality solutions. • Work closely with internal teams such as technical support, sales, and engineering to achieve the best MTTR and share experience.

Requirements

• Electrical qualification or equivalent technical degree • Certifications in industrial controls, PLC, or related fields (preferred) • Proven experience in a field service role, ideally within industrial or technical environments • Familiarity with industrial control systems, including PLCs, HMI interfaces, and automation • Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues. • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service, with an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical customers. • Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems as they relate to powder coating equipment. • Clear, concise communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare detailed reports. • Willingness to travel throughout the UK and Ireland with weekly overnight stays.
