Description

• Build front-end web applications against our back-end APIs • Collaborate with customers and collaborators to craft and mock-up pages and views that align with business objectives • Influence the design of back-end APIs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience • 5+ years work experience in front-end software development, building web applications with frameworks (React or similar) • Knowledge and experience on how to provide an User Interface (UI) Design • 2+ years experience in one or more general development languages like Python, C/C++ • Experience in writing efficient SQL through both raw queries and ORMs • Proficiency in version control systems (e.g. Git, Perforce) • Experience making data visualizations (with Plotly, d3, Highcharts, Bokeh) • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to determine root causes and implement effective solutions • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with others in a team environment • Solid understanding of deploying applications in Linux • Experience deploying containerized applications, including with orchestration technologies (e.g. Swarm, Kubernetes) • Have a portfolio of projects or open-source contributions that showcase your UI development skills • Experience with HPC clusters and technologies, especially Slurm, or experience with batch or streaming workloads other cloud-native orchestrators like Kubernetes/Rancher, Mesos or HashiCorp Nomad • Knowledge of system network provisioning and deployment processes, automated OS installation
