β€’ Developing and triaging platform drivers which goes into SOCs β€’ Building sophisticated automation triage tools and issue packetizations for FW and OS drivers β€’ Supporting OS driver development, bring up and triaging of Platform and Multimedia drivers β€’ Supporting the OEM ecosystem and providing innovative solutions β€’ Assist Boot KPIs, Security and OS drivers β€’ Supporting many ecosystems related verticals β€’ Following the devices all the way through from pre-silicon to bringup to production, in products across different business verticals β€’ Being heavily involved in architecture definition and early modeling, simulation required to create groundbreaking products β€’ Collaborating and communicating effectively with teams from all around the globe

Requirements

β€’ BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience β€’ Strong understanding on ARM microarchitecture as well as understanding of ARM exception levels β€’ Background in solving problems that apply to large complex systems deployed at scale. β€’ Strong C/C++ and Python programming skills as well as having shown initiative in pursuing independent coding projects β€’ Good understanding of ACPI as Device tree concepts β€’ Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessor, and microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, memory controllers, DMA, etc.) β€’ Strong Operating systems fundamentals with Kernel, Hypervisor experience on Windows systems as well as Linux systems β€’ Hands on experience on debuggers like GDB, WinDBG as well compilers like GCC, MSVC, LLVM etc β€’ Good understanding of SOC architecture spanning across Boot, Security and OS β€’ 5+ years of meaningful software development experience
