β€’ Standard Metrics, formerly known as Quaestor, is an automated financial collaboration platform. β€’ Looking to add an experienced Backend Engineer with solid experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure. β€’ Opportunity to have a big impact on the core product platform and the team’s culture and direction. β€’ Design, architect, and build Standard Metrics’ core platform initiatives. β€’ Collaborate with the product team to define features aligned with company goals and values. β€’ Lead design, implementation, and management of scalable and secure infrastructure solutions. β€’ Architect manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ensuring maintainability and scalability. β€’ Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment. β€’ Integrate advanced deployment strategies such as blue-green deployments and canary releases. β€’ Architect AWS cloud environment focusing on high availability and disaster recovery. β€’ Implement and manage enterprise-level monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. β€’ Lead implementation of security best practices, including automated security testing and incident response strategies. β€’ Mentor and guide product engineers in best practices and methodologies.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ 5+ years of backend development experience in Python β€’ 2+ years of experience in DevOps, System Administration, or related role β€’ Experience with AWS cloud platforms, including advanced services and architectures β€’ Proven expertise with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm β€’ Deep experience with version control systems, notably Git, and familiarity with branching strategies and best practices
