Description

• This is a full time, client facing role requiring excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Your primary role will be to collaborate with cross-functional teams building highly secure, complex back-end and front-end products with many moving parts. • Upgrading versions and maintaining Laravel is a must! However, clean sheet development of a PHP based application is also a requirement. • You will also be involved with the co-creation of project plans and pre-sales activities (information architecture, estimates, scope, schedule, risks, etc.). • A passion for problem solving and self governance is a necessity. • It is important to understand that maintenance is a large part of our business, which means building software but also maintaining it over time. • Constant, clear communication in both good and challenging times keeps our customers active for many years.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field: Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline • 5+ years “Full Stack” development with considerable Laravel experience • Client facing product management and development • Independent team player in a typically fast paced, sometimes complex environment • Ability to shift priorities and handle multiple, concurrent projects while still managing to smile and laugh • Passion for problem solving • Integrate with and troubleshoot complex client DevOps • Independence is a must - many projects are often handled by a single developer, not a team • Collaboration, honesty, and integrity are absolutes
