Description

• Focus on developing features that align with the retention and monetization goals of the game. • Design, model, and assess the effectiveness of game systems, particularly those with quantitative components. • Oversee the distribution of in-game rewards and contribute to the content strategy. • Participate in shaping and executing on the game’s retention and monetization strategies. • Translate the overall game vision and strategic direction into tangible design elements. • Lead and drive the development of new features to enhance player engagement. • Collaborate closely with different teams to ensure cohesion in design and implementation. • Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced designers or those outside your specific area of expertise. • Regularly playtest the game to maintain alignment with the intended experience and objectives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the games industry. • A strong background in designing, implementing, and balancing metagame systems, progression, and monetization mechanics. • Experience contributing to one or more live service titles. • A deep understanding of how systems design and numerical models impact overall game experience. • Broad knowledge of the gaming market and familiarity with the design and monetization systems of a variety of titles. • The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your responsibilities. • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills. • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. • A genuine enthusiasm for delivering memorable co-op gaming experiences.
