Description

• Seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Database Administrator – Exploration • To be based in Makati office to execute exploration related work programs within the various OGC tenements in a safe and sustainable manner • Support the initiative to identify and generate exploration opportunities for potential business transactions • The role will report to the Exploration Manager (Philippines)

Requirements

• Behaviour consistent with OceanaGold Values and the OceanaGold Way • Degree in a relevant and related field such as geology, geography, spatial analysis, geodetic engineering, geomatics, cartography • Must have at least five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar role • Experience and awareness of the Mining and Mineral Exploration industry • Knowledge of mining and mineral exploration industry, from grass roots to advanced stage • Awareness of geological mapping and geochemical sampling processes including laboratory procedures, QAQC protocols and data analysis • Experience with relevant and related software – Database, GIS, and Mining • Experience with Database management software such as Acquire GIM suite, Datamine Fusion, MaxGeo DataShed • Strong skills with Geographic information software systems such as Mapinfo and/or ArcGIS • Excellent planning, organizing and prioritization capabilities • Familiar with mining related software such as Leapfrog
