Description

• Responsible for planning, forecasting, and analyzing divisional and Office-level financial results. • Develop recommendations to improve business performance. • Review key planning, budgeting, and forecasting assumptions. • Confirm key business drivers and initiatives as input into business plans. • Support development of business cases for new investments/projects for budgets. • Review resource allocations against plans and targets. • Review, challenge, and finalize forecasts with Business. • Primary point of contact with business stakeholders for performance analysis. • Identify performance analysis KPIs and priorities required for business stakeholders. • Establish tolerance levels for variance analysis. • Compile detailed commentary for business and executive leadership. • Provide ad-hoc data analysis upon request.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting strongly preferred. • At least 3 years of experience in finance or accounting. • Analysis including P&L analysis, forecasting & budgeting. • Working with large data sets and creation of excel templates. • Automation skills and strong time management skills. • Experience with Specialty Insurance is a plus. • Proven ability to work independently and analyze data. • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI or Tableau. • Exposure to financial reporting software (CPM) understanding user interfaces to run reports such as Oracle.
