Description

• As a Senior Backend Developer at OneSeven, you will set up CI/CD, servers and monitoring tools. • Provide and update documentation and unit tests for QA. • Identify and fix software bugs for a seamless user experience. • Collaborate with team members for integration and feature development. • Onboarding: In-person for Buenos Aires, remote for others. Short process expected to contribute quickly.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience working as Backend Developer • Intermediate English level (important) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Able to work 9am -5pm EST • You must provide your own workspace with reliable Internet service • Passionate about the startup environment and eager to learn • Strong mentoring and leadership skills • Ability to lead and instruct teams • Ability to quickly adapt, learn, and solve problems • Team player, willing to jump outside of their role to help the greater team • Ability to research as you work • Ability to be accountable for your own time in a fully remote environment • Desire to contribute to a growing, dynamic team and help shape process, practice, and operations • Agile + Scrum Methodology knowledge • Keen eye for detail and excel in documentation • Highly organized and proficient in task management • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Experience working in the backend with Javascript, preferably with NestJS • Experience with version control systems • Knowledge of web security best practices • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token • Experience with typescript, relational databases (Postgres preferred), Docker, Terraform, unit testing, CI/CD, cloud providers (AWS preferred), Serverless • Knowledge of other languages: Ruby, .NET / NET Core, Java
