📋 Description

• The Lead Engineer, Business Intelligence at OneSix works collaboratively to design and develop data-driven solutions that empower clients with actionable insights. • This role is mission-critical, leading project teams, shaping project scopes, and working directly with clients to refine and implement BI strategies. • While not a direct people manager, the Lead BI Engineer serves as a technical team lead, providing mentorship, guidance, and strategic direction to team members to ensure successful project delivery. • They are responsible for architecting scalable data solutions, optimizing analytics workflows, and leveraging best-in-class BI tools to solve our clients' most pressing challenges.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. • 6+ years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or a similar role. • Expert-level proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL development. • Extensive experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. • Deep understanding of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure) and data warehousing solutions. • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other scripting languages for data automation. • Proven ability to lead teams and manage large-scale BI initiatives. • Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and stakeholder communication skills. • Experience with machine learning, AI-driven analytics, or predictive modeling. • Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, or similar). • Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD for data workflows. • Background in Agile methodologies and project management.
