Description

• The Grants and Contracts Analyst will participate and assist in the management of selected pre- and post-award activities for assigned principal investigators (PIs). • Works closely with senior level team members in following established procedures; identifies and reports noncompliance with sponsor guidelines. • Updates PI current and pending other support documentation; assists with the completion of annual progress reports. • Pre-award activities may include assisting with proposals, coordinating with internal staff, formatting and editing documents, drafting budgets, and adhering to internal and sponsor time limits. • Post-award activities may include compiling statistical, financial, or accounting data, reviewing expenses for compliance, initiating cost transfers, and preparing projects for close-out.

Requirements

• Minimum Education Required Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience. • 2 years of relevant grant or contract management experience. • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word and Excel, including the ability to create formulas and recognize errors in formulas. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks under deadline pressure. • Solid communication skills and ability to clearly explain status, concerns, and possible solutions to customers.
