Description

•This position will focus on the critical evaluation of a Supply Chain topology to deliver superior customer experience, service and cost for our customers. •The Sr. Consultant will hand in hand with the data team and network modelling subject matter experts to develop robust models and optimizations. •Working as part of a project team, the Sr. Consultant will be able to work well with others to set objectives, communicate findings, plan for, and negotiate challenges. •They will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to consistently meet deadlines and deliver an on-time, on-budget project. •They will be a highly organized individual with clear visual, written and verbal communications through which they will provide insight and advise Clients in their decision-making around distribution centre operations designs. •The Consultant will identify, evaluate and make use of specialist knowledge, particularly around supply chain networks, transportation and inventory and will deliver analysis, innovations and modelling insights to create, evaluate, and deliver strategies to optimize the flow of goods from suppliers to customers.

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree with evidence of strong performance in engineering, logistics, and operations •4+ years experience in one of the following: retail / e-commerce / modelling and analytics / transportation / inventory / supply chain •A demonstrated understanding of how analytics and business strategy work together to drive strategy •Ability to deal with ambiguity •Experience working directly data analytics teams; experience with network modelling software and techniques. •Ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences and influence outside technical teams •Business acumen. •Experience working with P&L data •Extreme curiosity and appetite for learning and growth •Ability to travel nationally and internationally
