Description

• Responsible for developing Risk Engineering technical guidance and resource material for MLC Equipment Breakdown • Collaborate with Underwriting Referral team and support business results • Develop Risk Engineering Guidelines and work with Middle and Large Commercial Underwriting on risk selection • High-level decision-making skills and comprehensive business knowledge required • Assess implementation of Risk Engineering guidelines, service standards, and operational efficiencies • Develop Risk Improvement Reports, Recommendations, and Letters

Requirements

• Requires 10+ years of Equipment Breakdown Risk Engineering • Monitor and analyze data and key performance indicators (KPI’s) to identify patterns and trends in Equipment Breakdown and make recommendations for Risk Improvement • Team player who possesses strong proficiency and experience with industrial, mechanical and electrical equipment • Conduct periodic on-site Risk Engineering evaluations specific to Equipment Breakdown on Larger/Complex risks • Perform (as needed) Virtual Surveys to gain additional information on risk exposures • Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining solid relationships with all internal and external business partners • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills • An ability to think analytically about business problems, make recommendations and propose solutions to meet the business partner deadlines • High energy self-starter, who is resilient and has an entrepreneurial spirit while also collaborating with others in the organization • Demonstration of solid time, organizational, and desk management skills • Superior technical knowledge and sound decision-making and analytical skills
