Description

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust database solutions • Manage and optimize databases across PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Oracle • Ensure high availability and automate disaster recovery solutions for critical databases • Collaborate with software developers and architecture to support database best practices • Conduct regular database security assessments and implement necessary measures • Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior DBAs

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar • 10+ years of experience in database administration, mainly with PostgreSQL, SQL Server and Oracle • Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies • Strong knowledge of database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions • Proficiency in database security best practices • Excellent problem-solving skills • Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset • Ability to mentor and provide technical leadership to a team of DBAs • Experience with cloud-based database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database) • Certification in SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL is a plus • Drive to innovate and understand upcoming technologies • Coding skills in C# (.Net Core) and Terraform/Go are a plus • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
