📋 Description

• Location: To create the best experience for this employee and to meet the business needs, this role requires you to be based within India with the required right-to-work status. • We are looking for a high-performing Specialist to join our Corporate Governance team who can assist in keeping up with the demands of a growing global HR/tech company. • In this role, you will be working with members of Legal’s Governance Team and our outsourced entity management partner, primarily handling things related to corporate governance, along with other responsibilities, all of which will require critical thinking, innovation, and integrity. • Being a fully distributed company, you will work synchronously and asynchronously with team members all over the world. We are looking for someone with wonderful attention to detail, strong multi-task skills, high energy, a positive attitude, and no camera shyness. • You will be bright, energetic, and a self-starter. The successful candidate will be able to handle any responsibility assigned, who can successfully work on their own but is also not afraid to ask for help. • Reporting to the Governance Manager, you will keep Oyster’s subsidiaries up and running. This will include, but certainly is not limited to, assisting outside vendor with corporate entity creation and entity management tasks; working with various external and internal teams to create and maintain corporate governance-related databases, FAQs, and other internal resources, as necessary; coordinating filings and documentation related to company secretarial services, directorship and registered address; and managing vendor relationships including assisting with invoicing, addressing governance-related queries, and coordinating effectively with external partners.

🎯 Requirements

• Knowledge of corporate governance/entity management activities; prior corporate governance experience a plus • Organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills • Thrives in a dynamic, high-performance environment, maintaining focus and delivering results under pressure • Exhibits a proactive mindset and exercises sound independent judgment in decision-making • Demonstrates enthusiasm for solving problems and adding value to the company • [BONUS] Experience with remote work • [BONUS] Proficient in Google Suite of products (Gmail, Google Doc, Google Sheets) • [BONUS] Experience with Entity Management software preferred (e.g., Klea, or the like) • [BONUS] Familiarity with a client relationship management system (such as Zendesk, Salesforce, ServiceNow) a plus • [BONUS] Electronic signature software experience preferred (e.g., HelloSign, DocuSign) • [BONUS] Working in Notion and Asana very helpful • A reliable home internet connection (or be able to get one) • Fluent English language skills
