• At Pair Eyewear, we’re building the largest global eyecare company focused on personalization. • Seeking a Head of Engineering to lead and expand engineering teams for front-end and back-end technologies. • Manage two engineering teams and drive innovation while ensuring systems are robust and scalable. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology aligns with business priorities. • Lead architecture, development, and deployment of our technology stack, focusing on scaling internal systems.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Director or Head of Engineering). • Proven experience managing engineering managers and multi-functional teams. • Strong background in Next.js and React, with hands-on experience managing headless Shopify sites. • Strong background in development in a Shopify ecosystem. • In-depth knowledge of backend technologies, particularly Ruby architecture.Experience integrating with third-party services and APIs to optimize customer experiences.
