Description

• Protect infrastructure by searching for and addressing vulnerabilities. • Perform penetration testing on IT infrastructure components like networks, web applications, APIs, and cloud environments. • Use tools and techniques to identify security weaknesses. • Develop and execute attack scenarios for security control assessment. • Conduct vulnerability assessments and analyze risks. • Create reports documenting findings and recommended remediation actions. • Triage vulnerabilities in bug bounty programs. • Collaborate with IT, development, and security teams to remediate vulnerabilities. • Advise on best practices for securing systems and applications. • Participate in security assessment programs and internal/external assessments. • Stay updated with penetration testing tools, techniques, and threats. • Develop scripts and tools for penetration testing automation. • Contribute to refining testing methodologies and frameworks.

Requirements

• Five years of a university degree or four-year college diploma, preferably in computer science, telecommunications, or related fields, or equivalent work experience. • At least 5 years of work experience in similar roles. • Fundamental technical understanding and experience assessing vulnerabilities and identifying weaknesses in web applications, APIs, operating systems (Windows and Linux), networks, databases, and application servers. • Ability to prioritize remediation and handle mitigation planning. • Experience in working collaboratively with cross-functional IT teams. • Ability to apply a risk-based approach while working on assigned responsibilities. • Good understanding of reporting needs at various organizational levels and ability to design, create, and present them. • Experience in working with BI tools to prepare dashboards. • Troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities. • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills. • Ability to organize work and prioritize work as per the operation's needs. • Ability to work independently and as part of the Information Security Team, under minimal supervision. • Time management skills and manage work in a fast-moving environment.
