Description

• Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information • Serve as partner with finance and business teams for accurate accounting guidance • Research and interpret accounting guidance for new/existing standards • Perform accounting due diligence on potential merger and acquisition targets • Analyze impact of new accounting standards on transactions • Research accounting issues and prepare recommendations • Lead valuation efforts over acquired assets • Present information effectively to managers • Draft position papers on significant transactions • Assist in review of new contracts for appropriate accounting treatment • Complete special projects for management requiring accounting research • Ensure proper execution of key SOX controls • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred • CPA required • 5+ years of accounting experience required • SEC reporting, FDICIA and SOX experience desired • 2 years of related work experience, Big 4 experience preferred • Excellent knowledge of US GAAP • Communication (written & verbal) • Attention to detail • Financial acumen
