📋 Description

• We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Project Manager (Learning & Content Development) to join our team for a 12-month contract position. • Play a key role in the successful development, production, maintenance, and delivery of teaching and learning content within the Canadian K-12 education space. • Manage multiple projects, suppliers, and resources as well as being accountable for adhering to quality standards, schedules, and budgets. • Role is primarily remote with occasional in-person meetings in Toronto. • Oversee content development, production planning and execution processes. • Source, hire and manage vendor/supplier relationships for digital and print products. • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. • Maintain project tracking and financial reports, manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs. • Communicate requirements for print manufacturing. • Identify opportunities for process and quality improvements. • Measure project performance, track risks, and implement approved actions to mitigate risks. • Prepare and present internal and external reports on program status and risks. • Ensure accuracy and consistency in project deliverables, maintaining high standards of quality and excellence. • Manage project budgets including spend reporting, analysis, re-forecasting, and purchase ordering. • Request, review, and negotiate quotations with suppliers.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in education-related product development is an asset. • Post-secondary degree/diploma or equivalent qualification • Familiar with the fundamentals of project management best practices (PMP not required) • Proficient in MS Office 365 Applications and in Smartsheet. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Effective verbal/written communication, listening, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
