• Job Title: Senior Territory Manager - Digital • Base Location: Hyderabad • Reports To: Cluster Sales Manager • Department: Higher Education – Sales Team • Assigned Territory: Andhra Pradesh, Telangana & Karnataka • Company Overview: Pearson India is a global leader in providing innovative learning solutions and educational content across various platforms. • Job Summary: The Senior Territory Manager - Digital will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to promote Pearson's digital products and services across educational institutions, corporate clients, and individual learners within the assigned territories. • Key Responsibilities: • Digital Sales Strategy & Execution: Design and implement sales strategies to accelerate the adoption of Pearson's digital products and services across institutions. • Relationship Management & Business Development: Establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers at educational institutions, government bodies, and other organizations to drive digital product sales. • Sales Performance & Reporting: Achieve and exceed sales targets for digital products within the assigned territory. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product management and content teams, customer success team, and marketing team to ensure alignment of strategies.

Requirements

• Education & Experience: • A bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or MBA is preferred. • 5+ years of experience in digital sales, sales management, or business development, ideally within the education or technology sectors. • A deep understanding of the higher education market is a significant advantage. • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and successfully managing a digital sales pipeline. • Skills & Competencies: • Strong digital literacy, with a deep understanding of digital education tools, platforms, and technologies. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Ability to identify customer pain points and craft tailored solutions that address their needs. • Strong analytical abilities, with experience in using data to drive decisions and improve sales effectiveness. • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently while contributing to a team environment. • Other Requirements: • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite. • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, industry events, and other business opportunities. • Fluent in English, Telugu, and/or other regional languages is an added advantage.
