Description
• Oversee and implement architecture of data pipelines and warehouses • Set best practices for data engineering • Build high-performance ETL pipelines • Set data architecture strategy for future product data integration into new systems • Work collaboratively with a small team of full-stack engineers and cross-functionally with product
Requirements
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Proven experience as a data engineer with 6+ years of relevant experience • Strong proficiency in Python • Experience building ETL pipelines • Strong proficiency in SQL (we use Postgres) • Familiarity with star and dimensional schemas • Experience with at least one data warehousing system (we use Bigquery) • Experience with Airflow and Cloud Composer or similar • Nice to haves: Node.js/Typescript experience, transformation toolkits, integration of ML/AI models into pipeline processing, experience with GCP
