• About Penbrothers: Penbrothers is an HR & remote talent management partner and one of the fastest growing companies in the Philippines. • We provide talented Filipinos with global opportunities in high-growth startups and dynamic companies, from the comfort of their own homes. • About the Client: The Client is a space technology & AI company focused on advancing planetary intelligence through technology, research, and intelligence for a sustainable Earth and a space civilization. • About the Role: We are seeking a talented and motivated Full-Stack Developer to join our team in building an advanced Planetary Intelligence Platform. • This platform integrates natural language processing, geospatial analytics, and machine learning to provide actionable insights for environmental management. • The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in software development, GIS technologies, and a curiosity to explore and integrate cutting-edge AI and machine learning models. • What you’ll do: Develop and optimize the platform’s backend and frontend components, ensuring high performance and scalability. • Implement natural language query capabilities, integrating AI models to enhance system intelligence. • Improve database architecture for efficient data retrieval and real-time analytics. • Work closely with data scientists to transition backend scripts into beautiful frontend user experiences for seamless visualization. • Design and implement interactive map-based visualizations using Mapbox or similar technologies. • Develop features such as comparison tools for analyzing environmental changes over time. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of machine learning models and geospatial analytics. • Optimize platform performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks in data processing and rendering.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong foundational computer science, engineering, and problem solving skills equivalent to that of a solutions architect or systems designer. • Aptitude and desire to learn and experiment with new technologies and AI systems and be on the cutting edge. • Ability and confidence to lead technology architecture decisions. • Aptitude for building towards a long-term vision with simplicity. • Strong foundation with frontend development (Next.js, React.js, but flexibility in frameworks is welcomed). • Solid understanding of database structures, optimization, and performance tuning. • Ability to work independently and proactively to identify technical improvements. • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to enhance visual presentation of geospatial data. • Nice to have: Experience in Python, particularly for geospatial or machine learning applications. • Familiarity with geospatial analysis tools and libraries (e.g., GDAL, GeoPandas, QGIS, ArcGIS, Mapbox) is a plus. • Interest in satellite imagery and developing GIS applications.
