📋 Description
• The General Accountant will ensure financial accuracy, efficient processes, and tax compliance for startups. • The role will manage invoices, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting while collaborating with FP&A Analysts and CFOs.
🎯 Requirements
• Has at least 3 years of experience as a general accountant/accounting specialist • Strong knowledge of GAAP or relevant certifications • Experience in financial operations, including AR, AP, and payroll. • Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, and Microsoft Excel. • Familiarity with tax filings (federal, state, franchise, sales tax). • Knowledge of R&D tax credits, W9, and W8 implementation. • CPA certification is preferred • Experience working with US-based startups, managing end-to-end financial operations and bookkeeping. • Preferably knowledgeable in Singaporean accounting and tax processes. • Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., Gusto, Rippling) and digital banks (e.g., Brex, Mercury).
