Description

• Responsible for overseeing the entire quality process for pet health/feed supplements • Manage relationships with contract manufacturers and testing labs to ensure adherence to quality standards • Review Certificates of Analysis to verify raw material and product quality • Focus on the effectiveness of the Quality Management System • Conduct audits of contract manufacturers and qualify potential partners • Investigate and troubleshoot product quality issues • Manage and investigate customer complaints • Implement adverse event reporting and follow-up system • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System specific to pet health supplements • Maintain quality assurance documentation and ensure adherence to procedures • Collaborate with other departments on quality-related matters • Manage and develop the Quality Assurance team if applicable

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, ideally within the FMCG/CPG/Food nutraceutical or animal health industry. • Bachelor's degree in science (Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field) or relevant experience . • Strong understanding of cGMP regulations and quality control principles.  HACCP level 3+ preferred. • Experience with conducting audits of contract manufacturers preferred. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal and external partners. • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with quality management software a plus.
