Description
• The Internal Medicine/Specialty Care Field Medical Director provides migraine expertise to external stakeholders in Missouri and Arkansas. • Plans and executes independent Medical strategies for assigned stakeholders. • Maintains knowledge of disease states and Pfizer medicines. • Serves as a conduit for Medical Information and external insights. • Understands Medical Affairs priorities to contribute to educational content strategy. • Delivers truthful and accurate medical content about Pfizer medicines. • Leads advisory boards with manager oversight and provides support during research processes. • Cultivates research and therapeutic area expertise.
Requirements
• MD or DO Degree required • 3 years of relevant experience required • Must live within the greater St Louis area • Subject matter expert recognized across internal and external stakeholders • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills • Manage a significant volume of projects developed in a remote environment • Work within a matrixed, multi-disciplinary team • Effectively manage through and lead change • Collaborate effectively and demonstrate leadership and teamwork • Be a self-starter, be accountable, and have a sense of urgency • Maintain self-awareness and continually choose behaviors based on impact
