📋 Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team. • This role is responsible for overseeing general accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the company’s financial health. • The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP or IFRS. • Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries. • Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance. • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly. • Assist with tax filings, including sales tax, payroll tax, and corporate tax. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting. • Stay updated with accounting standards and best practices to ensure continuous compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification is preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience. • Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and MS Excel. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. • Experience in a corporate accounting environment or public accounting firm is a plus.
