• Build and maintain a robust sales funnel by generating leads through email, virtual meetings, and other lead generation activities • Develop a deep understanding of our software products and target markets in India • Identify customer pain points and requirements, correlating our solutions to meet their needs • Handle inbound leads and convert them into clients • Qualify leads by identifying key decision-makers and understanding their requirements • Manage appointments for introductory calls, product demos, and follow-ups • Research market trends across the region to inform sales strategies • Deliver compelling product demonstrations to encourage product trials and drive sales • Maintain and update the lead generation database in our CRM system • Achieve monthly sales targets as set by the business • Upsell products and services to existing clients • Stay informed about competing products and services in the region
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus • 2-5 years of experience in software sales, preferably in SaaS or B2B environments • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) in English; proficiency in regional languages is a plus • Strong listening skills and a positive, energetic phone presence • Experience with lead generation, cold calling, and closing deals • Proficiency in CRM tools and Google Suite • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and presentation skills • Experience in the retail sector is an advantage • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed
