β€’ Manage a team of Pre-Sales Solution Engineers, and Professional Services Solutions Architects and Software Engineers for the APJ region β€’ Mentor team members to identify development opportunities and growth areas, short-term and long-term career objectives, and track progress β€’ Develop trusted relationships with customers, identify their challenges and pain points, connect solutions to needs, and highlight the value delivered β€’ Collaborate with internal sales teams and authorized channel partners to drive sales and services growth in new and existing accounts β€’ Champion sales excellence across both Pre-Sales and Professional Services β€’ Apply expertise in remote sensing and geospatial technologies to help customers successfully adopt Planets Insights Platform β€’ Hands-on engagement with customers through presentations, demonstrations, commercial proposals, workshops, pilots, events, and social media outreach β€’ Manage Professional Services projects ensuring successful delivery on time and on budget while exceeding customer expectations β€’ Build tools, applications, and compelling demonstrations using Planet's APIs and analytics to showcase what's possible with Planets Insight Platform β€’ Provide valuable voice-of-customer feedback to product development and marketing teams, influencing the future direction of Planet's offerings

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams β€’ Deep technical expertise in remote sensing and geospatial technologies β€’ 4+ years of experience managing teams responsible for delivering software or services to customers β€’ 6+ years of experience in a technical geospatial or remote sensing role β€’ Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Remote Sensing, Engineering, or a comparable combination of technical education and relevant work experience β€’ Experience supporting government or large enterprise customers in the South Asian region β€’ Proficiency with GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS, Esri software, and Google Earth Engine) β€’ Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with customers at all levels of their organization β€’ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey complex technical concepts β€’ Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
