• Planned Parenthood is the nation’s leading provider and advocate of high-quality, affordable sexual and reproductive health care. • The Director of Data Stewardship & Architecture manages data initiatives and drives data governance practices. • Oversees data management projects ensuring effective governance and utilization across the division. • Collaborates with diverse stakeholders to enhance data literacy and promote innovative practices. • Responsible for data architecture design, development, and maintenance while ensuring robust data infrastructure.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles, with at least 4 years in a leadership position • 5+ years of experience in data governance, data stewardship, and data management best practices • 5+ years experience as a delivery Project Manager on Data Warehouse, Data Governance, Business Intelligence, and Analytics projects • Proven experience in managing complex data management projects and initiatives • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality principles, and data management best practices • Proficiency with data warehousing solutions, data lakes, ETL processes, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) • Strong knowledge of database management systems • Familiarity with data governance tools and platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica) • Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP) • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and opportunities • Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills • Strong drive to excel professionally, and to guide and motivate others • Advanced written and verbal communication skills • Dedicated, innovative, resourceful, analytical and able to work under pressure • Foster an efficient, innovative and team-oriented work environment
