Description

• Ownership of financial operations and treasury management (cash & digital assets) • Manage bank and custody accounts, ensuring appropriate maintenance and signatory authority • Calculate and forecast burn, revenue, other income and runway and accurately present current and future cash and crypto positions in real-time • Work with Legal and the leadership team on transfer pricing and inter-company arrangements • Monitor and oversee the performance of outsourced services by outsourced service providers relating to the finance function • Streamline operations and ensure best practices and regulatory compliance, in collaboration with Legal • Regularly report on cash position, liquidity forecasts, and counterparty risks to leadership • Establish and track core metrics that are essential to the financial health of the company • Lead and monitor the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes • Lead the design and implementation of internal controls over financial reporting and accounting policies and procedures • Act as a primary senior point of contact within the company for internal and external financial and accounting queries • Lead strategic liquidity and financial planning, focusing on detailed cash and Polymer digital assets projections to support the company's growth and strategic objectives • Develop forecasting models to predict liquidity needs and plan for asset value fluctuations, bearing in mind market trends and company goals • Prepare meaningful analysis for strategic business decisions and model financial situations in close collaboration with the leadership team • Provide insightful and quality financial advice to support the company's business decision-making • Align liquidity management, including cash flow optimization and liquidity forecasting, with the company's broader investment and financing strategies • Devise liquidity strategies to navigate the unique challenges of cryptocurrency assets and DeFi, with a particular focus on Polymer digital asset dynamics • Implement proactive liquidity monitoring and forecasting to manage crypto market volatility effectively • Establish and continuously refine risk management strategies to keep pace with the evolving digital asset markets • Assess and monitor counterparty risks associated with the company's financial partners and service providers • Conduct regular reviews of counterparty risk exposure and adjust risk management strategies as necessary

• Web3 experience is highly preferred
