Description

• Position of Area Sales Manager for Southern Illinois to sell Portwest products to distributors • Responsible for building quality business relationships with new and existing accounts • Conduct daily face-to-face sales meetings to maintain and develop relationships • Identify existing customers with high growth potential • Engage in consultative selling by identifying customer needs • Develop clear and effective written proposals for current and prospective customers

Requirements

• 1-3 years PPE, workwear or safety wear sales experience is essential • Sales experience in a related industry will also be considered • Experience selling on behalf of a manufacturer, distributor, reseller or agent • Experience drafting and executing sales plans for aggressive expansion • Ability to translate business initiatives into bottom line results • Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills • Positive attitude with a winning mentality • Clean driving license and willingness to drive throughout designated region
