Description

• Conduct thorough reviews of medical records to ensure clinical accuracy and completeness. • Identify and recommend enhancements for clinical documentation and AI diagnostic models. • Apply coding guidelines and regulations to accurately assign diagnostic and procedural codes. • Collaborate with healthcare teams to communicate clinical diagnoses and documentation standards. • Stay updated on evolving documentation and coding guidelines through ongoing training and professional development. • Contribute to process improvements to streamline documentation practices and promote efficient healthcare delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in a clinical role or clinical documentation/coding. • Solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and healthcare documentation. • Bachelor’s degree in health information management, nursing, or a related medical field. • Preferred: Certification such as Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) (not required).
