• At PrizePicks, we are the fastest growing sports company in North America, as recognized by Inc. 5000. • The Analytics Team is tasked with creating and managing analytics tools and workflows to support PrizePicks across all departments, with data at the heart of these operations. • As a Senior Analytics Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, implementing, and maintaining the core datasets, models, and delivery of data to other analytics functions such as Financial Analytics, Executive Reporting, Customer Insights, Product Analytics, and Data Science. • You will enable fast, reliable, and quality analytics across the business, unlocking faster time to insight, accounting book close, and model delivery. • Your work will empower business growth as we scale across the analytics organization and broader business. • You will push our data systems to new heights as we deliver new datasets, products, and services across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related role, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity. • Expert SQL, expert data modeling (DBT or a like tool), ETL development, and data warehousing concepts. • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS, or Azure. • Strong knowledge of analytics and BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of data pipelines and transformation workflows. • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, set priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. • Excellent attention to detail, with strong understanding of accounting principles and how data is leveraged for accounting processes.
