Description

• Design and execute research studies using a variety of methods including usability testing, in-depth interviews, diary studies, etc. • Own the end-to-end research process within your domain including prioritizing & scoping, recruiting participants, collecting data, synthesizing and analyzing data, and delivering findings. • Partner closely with cross-functional team members in identifying key research objectives and questions to address research needs across the product lifecycle. • Translate research findings into actionable insights, and strategic narratives through compelling storytelling and creative artifacts, reports, and read-outs. • Communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations clearly and effectively to key stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in UX Research, Design Research, or Human Factors Engineering • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Psychology, Human Factors, HCI, Anthropology, or related field • Strong proficiency with qualitative or mixed-methods research and executing both evaluative and generative studies • A portfolio or case studies highlighting your end-to-end research process and the impact your work had on an organization, team, product, and/or feature • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with and influence stakeholders • Experience with remote testing tools (e.g., dscout, UserTesting, UserZoom, etc.) • A deep curiosity and passion for uncovering user needs, motivations, behaviors, and pain points • Bonus points for having comfort/familiarity with quantitative methods (e.g., surveys, log data analysis) or an interest in developing those skills
