📋 Description
• As the Estimating Engineer, you will support the Sales Division by performing proposal preparation and engineering analysis. • You will provide technical quotations for the company’s LV and MV switchgear based on project cost analysis. • Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing project costs, identifying potential cost uncertainties, and interacting with project management and engineering departments. • Reviewing and producing RFQ proposals based on engineering drawings and specifications is also part of the role.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing electrical power distribution equipment • Experience in reading single line diagrams and specifications • Strong knowledge of LV/MV switchgear and previous manufacturing experience is preferred • Experience with complex proposals/quotations in manufacturing environment is preferred • Excellent computer, communication, and organizational skills are a must • Experience with paralleling controls and/or PLC/HMI controls are a preferred • Travel will be required during on-boarding and training period (lasting 3-6 months, requiring up to 25% travel)
