• The Company Profound enables community physicians to offer clinical research as a therapeutic option to their patients. • We provide all the infrastructure, non-clinical services, and administrative heavy lifting. • The physicians practice medicine, we do everything else, and patients get access to the newest therapies available. • Mission: Improving Lives by Providing Advanced Therapeutic Options • Vision: Creating the Absolute Best Patient-Physician Experience in Clinical Research. • Values: Compassion, Urgency, Solution Orientation, Excellence • The Staff Accountant will play an essential role in the day-to-day accounting functions within Profound Research a Site Network in the Clinical Research industry. • Reporting to the Senior Director of Accounting, this position is responsible for maintaining financial records, tracking the organizations assets, liabilities, profit and loss, assisting with monthly and annual close processes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. • The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and have a strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly in the context of healthcare or related field.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. • At least 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience (preferably in healthcare or a similar industry). • Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. • Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct, or similar). • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets, pivot tables, and reports, and the ability to decipher and manipulate complex formulas. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in accounting. • Knowledge of healthcare financial systems and industry regulations. • CPA or working towards CPA designation (a plus). • Experience with financial forecasting or analysis. • Experience working in clinical research. • Exposure to corporate tax filings and best practices.
