• PGS is seeking a high performing, experienced Marketing and Communications Specialist who is interested in collaborating on all aspects of oral, written, and graphic communications. • This individual will author high-quality multi-platform products, including fact sheets, briefs, talking points, email messages, and social media content. • Support technical reviews and production of technical reports. • Provide analysis, identify actionable recommendations, and produce communication artifacts and visualization representations for program priorities and initiatives. • Gather communication requirements across the program stakeholders (internal and external) and tailor the products for the intended audience. • Facilitate the organization to draft written responses to internal and external stakeholders, Industry Stakeholders, etc. • Manage numerous information requests from senior managers, office leadership, and outside government entities. • Prepare documentation, talking points, presentations and briefings; perform technical editing and quality control for technical and non-technical documents. • Prepare and implement organization communication plans and protocols. • Establish/maintain the document control process and direct the program team in its implementation. • Maintain standards for program documentation and direct the program team in their use. • Maintain document and records repositories under configuration control. • Attend program reviews, conferences, workshops, and other program-related meetings. • Write, edit, and maintain program documentation, and coordinate the review and approval process. • Summarize necessary information from larger documents to provide to the program office for action or information purposes. • Assist the program office with tracking program and office action items and deliverables. • Facilitate a variety of knowledge sharing sessions with leadership and key stakeholders.
• Requires a BA degree and minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience. • In lieu of a degree 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite with particular emphasis on word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and SharePoint) • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe Photoshop • Experience in working with graphic design projects and creative direction assignments • Knowledge of balance, composition, what makes a great layout, proper execution of typography styles and hierarchy, color theory, and white space • Ability to create reports in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Ability to work with the client to define project requirements and provide process advice for optimal visual communication production • Ability to be a self-starter, pay strict attention to detail, and multitask across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment • Experience with scheduling and coordinating work across multiple teams and clients • Experience with complex data visualization • Experience with adhering to brand guidelines • Experience working in the IT and engineering field • Experience with developing 508 compliant materials • Ability to provide past samples showcasing a broad range of graphic design competencies • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience in producing correspondence, briefings and program plans for senior managers. • Experience working within the DoD
