📋 Description

• We are looking for a passionate Pulumi Cloud Architect to bring Pulumi’s cloud programming model to the world. • As an early member of our Professional Services team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, customized solutions to our customers, leveraging the power of Pulumi alongside various cloud providers. • Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with a strategic customer to understand their infrastructure needs, design tailored solutions, and implement them effectively using Pulumi's cutting-edge technology. • This is a customer-facing engineering role, where your contributions to customer engagements will quickly establish and underpin reference architectures and cloud best practices. • By leveraging Pulumi's infrastructure as code (IaC) approach, organizations can streamline the migration process, automate infrastructure provisioning, elevate security and achieve greater agility and scalability in the cloud. • You will help transform organizations with modern applications, data and AI powered capabilities. • Our Professional Services team is focused on helping our customers rapidly execute and optimize their usage of Pulumi across all of their cloud projects and teams. • Expect to be challenged, learn, teach, and collaborate with a world class team of great people.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development for cloud infrastructure or related functions involving scoping, prioritizing and managing cloud architecture and engineering deliverables. • Strong proficiency software engineering fundamentals including clean and concise code, writing documentation, refactoring, test driven development. We deliver projects working in Python, TypeScript, Go, C#, and Java, so you should be comfortable with at least two of these and willing to learn others. • Deep familiarity with core web infrastructure, application modernization and software development best practices, Open Source technologies, cloud security, public and private cloud platforms. • Experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure with Pulumi, Terraform, Cloudformation and/or similar technologies. • Strong proficiency in Azure, AWS or GCP services including compute, networking, storage, and security. • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster deployment, configuration, and management. • Experience with consulting and project delivery management • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong team collaboration skills, problem solving skills, and critical thinking.
