Description

• We are looking for a passionate Solutions Engineering Manager that is excited to bring Pulumi’s cloud programming model to the world. • Our Solutions Engineering team is dedicated to empowering our customers with innovative solutions and exceptional experience throughout the pre-sales journey. • This role is crucial in driving team performance, supporting pre-sales technical motions and fostering strong partnerships with our sales, marketing, product and executive leadership teams. • At Pulumi you will be challenged, learn, teach, and collaborate with an elite team of great people. • While Pulumi is headquartered in Seattle, WA., we are dedicated to being a remote first company.

Requirements

• 3+ years proven experience in a leadership role, managing customer facing technical teams, solutions architects, technical support or professional services teams. • Experience in a technical customer-facing role, including positions such as solutions engineering or post-sales consulting. This experience encompasses addressing client needs, providing technical guidance, and ensuring successful implementation and support of technical solutions to support pre-sales opportunities. • Deep familiarity with core cloud-based infrastructure, application modernization, Open Source technologies, and public and private cloud platforms. • Strong understanding of technology solutions, customer success, and enterprise software. • Experience working with Sales, Marketing, Product and Executive teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. • Impeccable written, verbal, and in-person communication skills. • Comfortable working with ambiguity, charting a course, and driving to execute.
