We believe that by empowering neighborhood gyms with the most advanced technology, we can transform the fitness experience and help create a healthier world. • PushPress is a 100% remote company. • About the Role • We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Platform Engineering squads, overseeing our SRE and API teams. Reporting to the SVP of Engineering, you will own the scalability, reliability, and developer experience of our platform which processes millions of API calls and transactions daily. • You will drive the technical strategy and execution for our platform infrastructure and public APIs. Your team ensures our platform can seamlessly support our rapid product development and business growth at scale. You will establish SRE best practices to achieve high reliability and uptime. You will lead the expansion of our Public API to enable new integrations and an ecosystem of partner apps. This is a high-impact role critical to the success of our core platform.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience, including 3+ years leading SRE/API teams • Strong background in API design, microservice architectures, and distributed systems • Deep expertise in SRE practices, observability, application health, and incident management • Experience operating production backend systems at scale in high-growth environments • Proven ability to hire, motivate and grow high-caliber platform engineering teams • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills • Track record of driving engineering projects with significant business impact • Strong communication skills and ability to translate between technical and business needs
